We’re hiring a HRIS Analyst, Team Lead at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The People Systems Lead oversees the administration, optimization, and strategic direction of Human Resource Information Systems. This role leads day-to-day system operations, mentors team members, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures HR technology solutions effectively support business objectives. This position can be 100% remote but would require a minimum of quarterly paid travel to Headquarters in Columbia MO.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience working with HR Information Systems, including demonstrated leadership or project ownership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR business processes and system integrations.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and work on a computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent experience with an enterprise-level HRIS (ADP, Workday, UKG, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, iCims, Taleo, etc.)
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent expertise in a business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee configuration and optimization of assigned HR Information Systems and/or modules, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and recruiting strategies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to HRIS team members, including prioritizing workload, mentoring, and supporting professional development.
  • Develop deep expertise in assigned system(s), proactively identifying functional gaps and recommending scalable solutions.
  • Lead the implementation, upgrade, and ongoing maintenance of functionality within assigned systems, including establishing timelines, delegating tasks, and ensuring successful execution in partnership with functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with business leaders and end users to gather feedback, evaluate system effectiveness, and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
  • Act as primary liaison between EquipmentShare and HRIS vendors or consultants, managing vendor relationships and escalations as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize value from HRIS systems and reduce manual processes. Collaborate with business process owners and Learning & Development to design, document, and implement optimized workflows.
  • Lead development of testing strategies and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and new implementations.
  • Identify communication and change management needs related to system updates and partner with stakeholders to develop and execute communication plans.
