About The Position

The Workday Learning Analyst is responsible for the implementation, administration, configuration, and optimization of the Workday Learning module. This role partners with HR, Talent Development, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end learning solutions—from initial design and implementation through ongoing support and enhancement. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Learning functionality, integrations, reporting, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–6+ years of experience with Workday Learning, including at least one full-cycle implementation
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, security, business processes, and reporting
  • Experience supporting data migration, UAT, and go-live activities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Workday Learning implementation and optimization
  • Requirements gathering and solution design
  • Testing, data validation, and release management
  • Stakeholder communication and change management
  • Documentation and process improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Pro Certification in Learning
  • Experience in multi-company, distributed, or regulated environments
  • Experience with Workday HCM, Talent, or Reporting modules
  • Experience working with implementation partners or consulting firms

Responsibilities

  • Workday Learning Implementation & Deployment Lead or support end-to-end Workday Learning implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post–go-live support
  • Partner with implementation partners and internal IT/HR teams to ensure alignment with business and learning strategy
  • Configure learning catalogs, courses, programs, playlists, campaigns, and certifications during implementation and beyond
  • Support data conversion, migration, and validation of learning history and compliance records
  • Develop and execute test scripts, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve defects
  • Create implementation documentation, configuration workbooks, and process flows
  • Workday Learning Administration & Configuration Maintain and enhance Workday Learning content, assignments, prerequisites, equivalencies, and renewals
  • Configure security roles, domains, and business processes related to Learning
  • Manage content provider integrations (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, OpenSesame, third-party LMS content)
  • Support instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning
  • Business Support & Stakeholder Partnership Act as a Workday Learning SME, advising HR, Talent Development, and Compliance stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday Learning solutions
  • Support change management, communications, and end-user training related to new learning functionality
  • Reporting, Analytics & Compliance Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track learning completion, certifications, and compliance
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate training records and documentation
  • System Maintenance & Optimization Participate in Workday biannual releases by assessing impacts, testing new features, and recommending enhancements
  • Troubleshoot issues, monitor data integrity, and continuously improve system performance and user experience
