Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience preferred.
  • Possesses an understanding of change management practices, as well as strategies utilized to reduce risk in an organization.
  • Experience handling employee relations issues and making sound judgment decisions in this area.
  • Strong problem analysis/solving, organization and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communications/facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in teaming/collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and HR related software.

Nice To Haves

  • HR professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understands the organization’s mission, products/services and customers as to achieve strategic functional and operational HR alignment. Contributes to the development and success of the organization’s objectives and strategies.
  • Ensures management is aware of Company policies and guidelines, as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations when making decisions that that impact team members.
  • Works closely with management to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
  • Completes personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, terminations, etc. and maintains associated records.
  • Provides counsel to management and oversees the handling of investigations, performance management, progressive discipline, involuntary terminations and exit interviews.
  • Facilitates problem solving and conflict resolution for a wide variety of issues. Recommends and implements solutions to achieve fair and equitable results.
  • Conducts various analyses to establish and implement human resources strategies that achieve desired outcomes.
  • Coordinates closely with HR counterparts on a company-wide basis to ensure consistency and continuity in human resources programs and processes.
  • Consults with managers to review compensation recommendations and identifies potential problems.
  • May be involved in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and/or contract administration.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
