About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support the leadership team within our Power Group. In this role, you will partner closely with the Global HR Business Partner and senior leaders to drive strategic people initiatives that enable organizational performance, talent growth, and cultural transformation. You will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business priorities by leveraging your expertise in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and data‑driven decision-making. This position requires strong partnership skills, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced global environment.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, ideally as a Country or Regional HRBP or in a similar consultative HR role.
  • Strong experience influencing senior leaders and executing HR strategies within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to interpret people data, build insights, and present findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, summaries) and PowerPoint for business presentations.
  • Strong communication, relationship building, persuasion, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Solid understanding of core HR processes including performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational change.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the technology or semiconductor industry, consistent with typical Renesas HRBP profiles.
  • Familiarity with global HR programs and translating enterprise HR initiatives into local execution.
  • Ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global HRBPs and business leaders to understand Power Group strategic priorities and translate them into actionable HR and organizational plans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to VP, Sr. Director, and Director-level leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategies.
  • Execute global talent management processes including performance management, succession planning, leadership development pipelines, and talent optimization efforts.
  • Support leadership capability building through coaching, insights, and development planning.
  • Use data and people analytics to identify trends, inform talent decisions, and support workforce planning and organizational design recommendations.
  • Support teams through organizational or culture shifts by providing clear communication, structured change management, and proactive engagement.
  • Highlight trends that may impact business or talent outcomes and partner with stakeholders to address risks.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, high-quality HR solutions.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and share best practices globally.
