About The Position

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a HR Systems Analyst to join our IT Business Systems team. The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of Workday and other HR systems, with a strong focus on integrations between Workday and Deltek Costpoint. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical configuration and stakeholder collaboration, and who thrives in an environment of ongoing system enhancement and optimization.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience supporting Workday in an HRIS or systems analyst role or Master's Degree and 3 years experience.
  • Strong experience with Workday reporting and analytics across HR domains, including advanced, matrix, and composite reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and Discovery Boards.
  • Experience supporting integrations between Workday and Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP/project accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security architecture, including security groups, domains, business process security policies, and role-based access.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and produce clear, concise reports and materials.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a government contracting, project-based, or regulated environment.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and policies, with strong hands-on knowledge of compensation programs, including job architecture, salary structures, incentive plans, and annual merit cycles.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Workday data with external BI and analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience supporting file-based and API-driven integrations.
  • Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-company structures.
  • Workday Pro Certifications in HCM, Reporting/Analytics, or Integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of all Workday systems.
  • Perform global system setup and design, including business processes and reporting.
  • Maintain inbound and outbound data integrations with multiple third-party systems.
  • Provide tier-one and tier-two HRIS support for end users.
  • Support Workday integration using EIBs, Workday Studio, or middleware platforms as applicable.
  • Troubleshoot integration errors and data discrepancies, coordinating resolutions with internal teams and vendors.
  • Build and maintain custom and ad hoc Workday reports, dashboards and Discovery Boards to support HR, Payroll, IT, leadership and other organizations as needed.
  • Support Workday configuration including business processes, condition rules, security roles, and calculated fields.
  • Assist with Workday and Costpoint release testing, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Partner with software development teams to design, build, and support extensions to Workday using approved technologies (e.g., Workday Extend, integrations, and third-party applications).
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Document system configurations, integrations, and support procedures.
