The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee data while assisting in the implementation of system processes, audits, and HR program configurations. The HR Systems Analyst partners with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to develop reports, troubleshoot issues, and support system-related projects. Through collaboration and continuous improvement, this role enhances HR operational efficiency, compliance, and the overall employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent related work experience
  • 0-2 years of experience supporting or administering HR systems or related data management functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and data validation
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes, data structures, and best practices
  • Experience working with reporting, payroll, or timekeeping systems
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and other business teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant coursework in HR, data analytics, information systems, or business administration
  • Professional certifications such as Workday HCM, HRIP, SHRM-CP, PHR, or Microsoft Excel/data analytics certifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Systems Analyst or similar role supporting Workday or other HRIS platforms
  • Experience with data privacy, system security, and compliance requirements related to employee data
  • Familiarity with internal and external HR audit processes
  • Experience supporting HR system projects, testing, or system integrations

Responsibilities

  • Provide intermediate support for the administration and maintenance of the Workday HRIS system
  • Ensure high-quality HR transactional data management and maintain the accuracy of employee data
  • Assist in creating and implementing data maintenance processes and audits to ensure data integrity
  • Support data corrections, organizational changes, and transfers of workers
  • Participate in the setup and maintenance of HR programs and initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of the Workday environment, ensuring it remains flexible and responsive to business requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational systems and enhance the employee experience
  • Implement process improvements to streamline HR systems and increase efficiency
  • Partner with HRd Services team members to support and assist with solutions and processes key to operations and growth
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the HR functional areas
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR processes, ensuring compliance with existing audit standards
  • Assist in responding to and complying with investigations, audits, and assessments, implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Support proper implementation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
