About The Position

Oversees daily human resources operations within a poultry processing plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a poultry processing or food processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• May require flexible hours, including morning, evening, weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Prior Supervisory experienced preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and Coordinate day-to-day HRW activities, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, FLSA, OSHA, DEC, ISCIS, I-9’s, E-Verify and any state or local laws.
• Administer and enforce company policies, procedures and workplace standards consistently and fairly,
• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns
• Assist HR Manager in supporting workforce planning, staffing levels, and retention strategies in a fast-paced production environment.
• Oversee timekeeping, attendance tracking and payroll coordination to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring all hourly job openings
• Assist in administration of all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May require flexible hours, including morning, evening, weekends and holidays as needed
