About The Position

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. This dual role combines responsibilities in human resources management and office administration to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and an aptitude for managing day-to-day office operations. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Paycor and or iCIMS experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and onboarding of all new hires
  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 40 employees through the HRIS system, Paycor
  • Assist with employment related inquiries from employees
  • Maintains DOT logs and files for drivers through a third party
  • Reporting of workers compensation claims with follow up as needed
  • Maintain all employee files, I-9’s, driver files
  • Fleet tagging, licensing, registrations etc.
  • Employee tech equipment set up & distribution
  • Keep track, maintain & order office inventory items.
