About The Position

Join the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) as a Human Resources Specialist. This full-time, onsite position plays a vital role in shaping CATA's workforce by leading recruitment strategies, enhancing employee onboarding, and supporting retention initiatives that help employees thrive. Your work will directly impact the employee experience and strengthen the organization's culture and long-term success. As a Human Resources Specialist focused on Recruitment and Retention, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates. You'll continually improve the onboarding program to deliver a consistent and engaging experience for new hires. A key component of this position is supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives. You will develop and manage mentorship, internship, and apprenticeship programs, conduct stay and exit interviews, analyze turnover trends, and help implement programs that foster employee recognition, development, and satisfaction.
