About The Position

Perform day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including reporting, filing, document management, and record maintenance. Maintain and support safety program documentation and compliance requirements. Handle confidential employee information and HR-related tasks requiring discretion and familiarity with general HR procedures to ensure smooth departmental operations during the transition to a permanent HR Manager.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of HR experience, ideally in an HR assistant or entry-level HR role.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Basic knowledge of HR procedures and comfort performing routine HR administrative tasks with minimal training.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented, able to manage reporting, filing, and safety program documentation accurately.
  • Availability for a short-term assignment of approximately 2–3 months and able to start within two weeks.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language skills (preferred, not required).
  • Prior experience working in environments with safety program requirements.
  • Experience supporting HR teams during periods of transition or staffing gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in processing employee documents, onboarding activities, and other basic HR workflow tasks as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, confidentiality standards, and organizational procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, leveraging foundational HR experience.
  • Coordinate with HR team members regarding task updates, priorities, and workflow needs.
  • Support scheduling of interviews and other HR-related meetings.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders while representing HR in a professional and service-oriented manner.
  • Provide temporary coverage for essential functions to reduce workload gaps and maintain service levels.
