This HR Specialist - Benefits role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans. Key duties involve coordinating enrollments, terminations, and open enrollment activities, maintaining accurate benefits data in HRIS and carrier portals, and partnering with various vendors to resolve issues. The specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, providing clear and timely guidance. Additionally, the role administers FMLA and ADA requests, processes benefits invoicing, compiles reports, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and Section 125. This position also contributes to process improvement by developing SOPs and collaborating with HR, Payroll, and Finance on various initiatives and special projects.
