Requirements

  • Candidates must have an associate degree (preferably in business) or 60 hours of college (with a relatable major focus) and two years of experience from any of the following areas and in any combination is also required: All HR and Business specialties Branch Operations Administration
  • Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.
  • Excellent customer service skills for our internal members (employees)
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of motivation an initiative.
  • Excellent communication, proofreading, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proven abilities as a self-starter with previous relatable human resources and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to listen to employees and discern needs.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt and work with ambiguity.
  • Ability and willingness to effectively manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • High functioning punctuality, with a sense of urgency for critical and unique situations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-level support to employees, including onboarding, offboarding, managing cases, and other HR shared services.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, handling confidential correspondence, and exercising a high degree of discretion, initiative, and quality orientation.
  • Providing a broad range of administrative support and will deliver services through multiple channels such as phone calls, emails, and case management.
  • Managing information flow between various sources and HR leadership.
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of HR processes, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and other HR share service functions.
  • Preparing a variety of documents and reports, track departmental information, and maintaining responsibility for assigned projects within the entire HR department.
  • Serving as the records and file custodian for HR and will be responsible for scanning and indexing employee records into the appropriate files.
