About The Position

The primary function is to provide assistance in the standardization of the day to day function across a program office at all levels and work with the Senior HR Program Manager. This includes, but is not limited to, the introduction and training of project tools, and methodology as they relate to the industry standard of project and program management. The employee will also have the responsibility of championing the processes and tools used in order to facilitate their adoption by the organization. Once the tools and processes are adopted, the PMO support will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper use of the new processes. The employee has the responsibility for providing regular project status updates and other project related information to the organization. The employee will work collaboratively to determine what information will be provided as well as the level of detail and frequency. The employee will also be responsible for version control of the project related documents. A compiled list will contain each project, along with its summary, current status, and any other relevant information related to ensuring successful completion. The employee will have responsibility for gathering project requests and assist with prioritization of the requests. The employee will also compile a list of skill sets of all project team members and will assist with ensuring that each project team has the necessary skills to be successful. Further, the employee will serve as an escalation point for issue resolution as it relates to prioritization, and resource constraints. On a regular basis, the employee will conduct project reviews that will examine the progress of each project as well as its adherence to the standardization protocols. The review will determine if objectives have been met within the projected timeframes as well as provide advice on corrective action when needed. Additionally, the employee will use the project reviews to access training needs and make other organizational recommendations when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 7-10 years Human Resource experience.

The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.

Responsibilities
