About The Position

The HR Programs and Communications Specialist supports the execution and coordination of key people programs, culture initiatives, learning offerings, compliance training, and employee communications. This role focuses on delivery, consistency, and employee experience. It partners closely with HR leadership, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Legal, and program leads to ensure initiatives are well organized, clearly communicated, and effectively maintained. The role is responsible for coordinating the Internship Program, Employee Resource Group programs, Culture Crew activities, HR communications, employee resources housed in ADP, employee handbook and policy upkeep, ESG-related HR reporting inputs, and compliance training initiatives. It also supports the coordination and delivery of learning offerings and provides day-to-day program and team coordination support across the HR function.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR programs, internal communications, learning coordination, or a related people-focused role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, employee-friendly content.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in HR systems or content platforms. Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day execution of the Internship Program, including recruitment, timelines, communications, onboarding coordination, manager materials, and program close-out.
  • Support Employee Resource Group programs by coordinating calendars, communications, events, and materials in partnership with ERG leads and HR leadership.
  • Coordinate Culture Crew activities, ensuring alignment, timely communication, and follow-through across teams and locations.
  • Support company-wide culture and engagement initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute HR communications, including program announcements, compliance reminders, and employee updates.
  • Maintain employee-facing HR resources housed in ADP, ensuring content is current, accurate, and easy to navigate.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the Employee Handbook, including version control, formatting, and incorporation of approved updates.
  • Coordinate HR policy upkeep by tracking changes, managing approvals, and supporting consistent communication once updates are finalized.
  • Partner with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, and Legal to translate policies and programs into clear, employee-friendly communications.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of required compliance training programs, including annual and periodic training.
  • Manage training schedules, communications, materials, completion tracking, and reporting in partnership with HR Ops and Legal.
  • Coordinate manager and employee learning offerings, including logistics, communications, and follow-up resources.
  • Support continuous improvement of learning and compliance training based on participation data and feedback.
  • Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, content updates, user access, completion tracking, and basic troubleshooting in partnership with HR Operations and IT.
  • Coordinate HR-related inputs for ESG and sustainability reporting, including workforce, culture, learning, and engagement metrics.
  • Partner with HR Operations and HQ teams to support timely and accurate data collection and submissions.
  • Maintain documentation and trackers to support ESG reporting consistency and audit readiness.
  • Provide coordination support across HR initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration or sequencing.
  • Track timelines, action items, and deliverables across multiple programs to ensure commitments are met.
  • Support HR leadership with meeting preparation, materials, and follow-up documentation as needed.
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination across HR programs and initiatives.
