About The Position

The Staff Pad is seeking a part -time HR & People Operations Manager to support a high -performing, global field sales team. This role will be part -time (25 hours per week) and will take ownership of the responsibilities outlined below. The ideal schedule is five hours per day, Monday through Friday, to ensure consistent coverage and avoid gaps in support. This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zones to align with business hours. The Staff Pad has partnered with a dynamic, fast -growing organization to identify an experienced HR & People Operations Manager who will play a critical role in shaping employee experience, supporting recruitment efforts, and driving operational excellence across a distributed team. This individual will serve as a key partner to leadership, ensuring a seamless employee lifecycle—from recruitment through onboarding, performance management, and beyond—while fostering a positive, collaborative, and well -supported work environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Employee Experience roles
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and HR compliance
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a distributed workforce
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now), Microsoft 365/Teams, and LinkedIn
  • Comfortable working across time zones in a fast -paced, collaborative environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (1–2 times per year)

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture centered on responsiveness, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) programs
  • Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and ensure compliance with data privacy standards
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, providing timely and supportive guidance
  • Manage employee recognition programs, ensuring accurate tracking and distribution of incentives
  • Prepare and distribute monthly communications highlighting team updates, achievements, and key announcements
  • Develop and distribute employee surveys to support engagement and feedback initiatives
  • Oversee company equipment tracking, including distribution, returns, and coordination with IT
  • Coordinate employee communications such as birthdays, anniversaries, and holiday outreach
  • Create and post job requisitions aligned with hiring needs
  • Review applicants within HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) and manage candidate pipelines
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings via Microsoft Teams
  • Coordinate interviews across stakeholders and ensure a smooth, organized process
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Provide timely and professional follow -up to all applicants
  • Manage all pre -hire documentation, including references and compliance requirements
  • Lead onboarding processes, ensuring a structured and positive new hire experience
  • Administer performance management cycles, including new hire evaluations and annual reviews
  • Ensure all documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time
  • Partner with leadership to provide day -to -day operational support to the field sales team
  • Maintain organizational charts, reporting materials, and presentations
  • Conduct cost audits related to travel (airfare, hotels, car rentals) and escalate discrepancies
  • Review expense reports and flag inconsistencies
  • Support LinkedIn presence and social engagement efforts
  • Manage general administrative tasks and communications
  • Provide weekly priority updates to leadership to ensure visibility across global teams
