HR/Payroll Specialist (Human Resources)
About The Position
We have an immediate opening in our Human Resources department! This is your chance to work somewhere meaningful! Who we are: Leo A. Hoffmann Center is a nonprofit Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). We provide treatment to adolescent males (11-17 years) with complex mental health conditions. PRTF's are more intensive than other services, such as residential treatment or day treatment, but less medically intensive than a psychiatric hospital. This position is responsible for performing all HR related duties on a professional level in the areas of payroll management, recruitment and new hire process, employee relations, and benefits administration. Starting Pay: $60,000-$63,000 annually
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum one (1) year experience in Human Resources
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for employee recruitment and new hire process
- Maintain personnel records and knowledge of online database
- Responsible for processing payroll bi-weekly
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations including FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, and labor laws
- Work in coordination with supervisors regarding employee disciplinary issues
