About The Position

Hearst Television’s WMUR-TV in Manchester, NH has an immediate opening for an HR/Payroll Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to support one of America’s leading television stations. This position provides human resources and payroll support for more than 100 employees. The HR/Payroll Coordinator reports to the General Manager. This station leader will lean heavily into HR skills and will support aspects of the fiscal management of the station as well as performing other business office functions. The ideal candidate must possess excellent and positive communications skills and interact well with others. This candidate will need to stay organized and on schedule for core responsibilities. Trustworthiness is a key trait as this individual will be exposed to highly confidential information. At Hearst Television we tell stories every day. Requirements

  • Eagerness to take on challenges and learn evolving areas of HR and business office functions
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position
  • Strong team player, willing to take initiative, and be an enthusiastic go-to person
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quick deadline environment
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Experience with various software applications including Excel, ADP, Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management
  • Related experience and/or training considered as well as a combination of education and experience.
  • Human resources experience
  • Payroll experience

  • PHR/SHRM-CP a plus
