About The Position

The HR Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll of the hospital and all mandatory reporting associated with that. In addition, this position serves as the subject matter expert in all employee benefits programs, participates in annual benefit renewals, maintains the HRIS system, and provides support of the overall HR functions of the hospital.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Human Resources, payroll processing, and payroll tax filing and benefits administration required.
  • Preferred experience with payroll/HRIS software required. Prior experience with shift differential pay and call back pay helpful.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Must have advanced computer skills, keyboarding, and 10 key experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • HR Certification preferred (PHR or SHRM)
