About The Position

Support the Onyx and Tribe teams by producing detailed analyses for compensation. Participate in various compensation related projects, including compensation reviews and analysis for Onyx clients. Respond to various compensation requests and keep consistency of compensation across Onyx and Tribe.

Requirements

  • Compensation knowledge required.
  • Excellent computer skills and typing speed.
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment, independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer HR degree or Experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides education and training to managers and leaders regarding compensation issues and best practice.
  • Examines and evaluates compensation of positions at all levels except Providers.
  • Benchmark jobs against survey data to determine pay bands for newly created positions and ensures Onyx and Tribe positions are competitive based on the market. Reviews and updates existing pay bands, as necessary.
  • Helps maintain internal equity and recommends equity adjustment when needed.
  • Designs, builds, manipulates, and produces detailed analyses and reports, as requested. Makes recommendations based on the analyses.
  • Participates in annual salary surveys.
  • Provides market data to management team for annual merit increases and assists with annual merit cycles.
  • Works with managers to recommend fair and competitive offers for all positions.
  • Reviews job titles and job descriptions working with leadership regarding any recommended improvements and/or revisions.
  • Determines FLSA status for each position.
  • Performs salary reviews for clients upon request.
  • Processes role changes.
  • All other duties assigned.
