JOB SUMMARY The HR Operations Specialist supports day‑to‑day HR and payroll operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and operational execution. This role provides hands‑on support for payroll tax compliance, HRIS administration, and core HR transactions in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Payroll Operations, or HRIS‑focused roles
  • Hands‑on experience with payroll tax compliance across the United States, Mexico, and Canada
  • Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, and/or UKG, including HRIS implementation or optimization
  • Strong ability to work in a high‑volume, transactional environment with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving, follow‑through, and compliance/audit readiness skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operational workforces preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish or French strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support daily HR and payroll operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, ensuring compliance with labor and payroll tax regulations.
  • Assist with payroll tax activities, including statutory deductions, filings, and reporting requirements.
  • Track regulatory updates and help apply changes to HR processes and system workflows.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support for ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, and UKG, including data maintenance, audits, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and Finance to resolve employee data, compliance, and reporting issues.
  • Support HRIS updates, enhancements, and integrations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Process and support employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, job changes, payroll administration, benefits support, and offboarding.
  • Maintain HR documentation and procedures to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
  • Identify recurring issues and support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Work with Finance, Legal, and IT to support payroll accuracy and compliance needs.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll and HR operations
  • Respond to HR operations inquiries from employees and managers regarding processes and compliance.
