About The Position

We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support the delivery of a scalable, efficient, and high-quality people function at Learning Pool. This role will be responsible for managing core HR processes, ensuring operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced, acquisitive SaaS environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate HR data, optimising systems and processes, and delivering a consistent and high-quality employee experience. You will work closely with the HR team and wider business stakeholders to ensure HR operations effectively support organisational objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience: You will have experience in an HR Operations, HR Generalist, or similar role within a fast-paced environment
  • HR expertise: You will have a strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and employment legislation
  • Organisation & detail: You will be highly organised with strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
  • Stakeholder management: You will be confident working cross-functionally and managing a range of stakeholders
  • Adaptability: You will be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Industry exposure: Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth business is preferred
  • M&A exposure: You will ideally have exposure to M&A activity and post-acquisition integration

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations.
  • Maintain and optimise HR systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, reporting capability, and process efficiency
  • Support payroll inputs, benefits administration, and compliance with local employment legislation
  • Own and continuously improve HR processes, policies, and documentation to drive consistency and scalability
  • Provide reporting and insights on key HR metrics (headcount, attrition, etc.) to support decision-making
  • Act as a key point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across the business
  • Support HR activities related to acquisitions, including due diligence data preparation and onboarding of new employees into systems and processes
  • Assist with the integration of acquired businesses by aligning HR data, policies, and processes with group standards
