About The Position

Atlantic Health Strategies is a managed services organization providing human resources, compliance, and operational support to healthcare and behavioral health providers nationwide. We partner with mission-driven organizations to deliver consistent, compliant, and trauma-informed HR services that support workforce stability, ethical operations, and quality client care. The Opportunity In this full-time, remote role, the HR Operations Coordinator, Managed Services reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and serves as the central coordination point for HR service delivery across assigned client accounts. This position is responsible for triaging client HR inquiries, coordinating timely responses, assigning and tracking HR tasks, and ensuring documentation integrity and follow-through. Complex, high-risk, or strategic matters are escalated to the CHRO for review and final determination.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to employee relations and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations required. Behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment exposure preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders within a structured service delivery environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills with attention to documentation accuracy and deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence when supporting leaders and staff in high-stress care environments.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, documentation management, and remote collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work full-time in a remote capacity within the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of HR experience with demonstrated exposure to employee relations and HR operations.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR leadership, internal HR team members, and client stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment exposure preferred.
  • HR experience in healthcare, managed services, or multi-site support experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary coordination point for incoming HR-related client inquiries within a managed services model.
  • Assess, prioritize, and route HR requests based on functional expertise, urgency, and compliance considerations.
  • Support and oversee the HR Generalist by coordinating day-to-day task assignments, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring consistency in employee relations documentation, corrective action processes, performance management administration, and HR recordkeeping.
  • Support and oversee the HR Recruiter by coordinating hiring requests, job posting timelines, onboarding workflows, and recruitment deliverables in alignment with client needs and internal standards.
  • Track progress of assigned HR tasks across the HR team and follow up to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant completion.
  • Provide hands-on HR operational support to healthcare and behavioral health clients under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Conduct preliminary fact-finding related to workplace concerns and investigations, coordinating information gathering and escalating findings to the CHRO for guidance and determination.
  • Escalate employee relations issues, investigations, compliance concerns, termination recommendations, or other high-risk matters to the CHRO as appropriate.
  • Ensure HR guidance and actions align with federal employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC guidelines, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable.
  • Maintain organized records of client requests, actions taken, and escalations to support accountability, continuity, and audit readiness.
  • Partner closely with the CHRO to support consistent HR service delivery, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across client organizations.
