About The Position

In this role, you will oversee various HR functions including payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and engagement. You will play a pivotal role in the administration of ESOP and 401(k) plans. Collaborating closely with leadership, you will align HR strategies with business goals, contributing to the company’s reputation as one of Hawaii’s Best Places to Work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Hawaii employment laws.
• Proficiency in payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience with HRIS system and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• ESOP and 401(k) administration experience is preferred.
• HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
• Experience with unionized skilled labor is advantageous.
