Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
3 - 5 years of progressive HR experience, demonstrating increased responsibility and readiness to step into management.
Strong systems, organization, and process‑development skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
Capacity to work independently and bring clarity, structure, and follow‑through.
Solid understanding of HR compliance and employment laws.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare or ADP is helpful but not required.
PHR or SHRM‑CP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers.
Manage day to day HR operations, documentation, and compliance with an emphasis on building and maintaining efficient systems.
Interpret and apply employment laws, policies, and HR best practices, offering clear guidance grounded in both organizational needs and legal requirements.
Partner with leadership and external HR support on complex or sensitive matters.
Build trusting, transparent relationships with staff across the organization, maintaining a steady, calm presence in challenging conversations.
Provide direct support, coaching, and clarity to leaders and employees, addressing needs while upholding policies and boundaries.
Lead employee relations work including performance conversations, conflict resolution, and navigating interpersonal dynamics in a community health environment.
Help cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture with a proactive interpersonal approach.
Manage benefits administration and open enrollment, acting as the primary contact with brokers and internal stakeholders.
Oversee leave administration, ADA accommodations, and offboarding with clarity, consistency, and care.
Maintain personnel files, records, and HR communication workflows with strong attention to structure, organization, and system efficiency.
Coordinate with payroll and admin support on timecards, credentialing, and compliance requirements.
Lead recruitment and hiring processes, including sourcing mission aligned candidates and coordinating a smooth interview experience.
Deliver an effective onboarding experience and oversee performance management cycles, including reviews and Personnel Change Notices.
