About The Position

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all human resource aspects and requirements for the Roxboro, NC site. Supporting the Site Leader, the Human Resources Manager will provide HR strategy and support to the site consisting of salaried and hourly employees across various organizational functions. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to daily responsibilities requiring expertise in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance and Talent Management, and Coaching. This role will have visibility and interaction with the Division Leadership Team. Be a driving force in ensuring a strong and committed culture of learning, transparency, ethics, passion, accountability, and efficiency throughout the new site organization. Lead the recruitment and hiring of new employees during the site integration efforts and on-going operations. Ensure that the site complies with all relevant employment legislation & company policies. Develop, Promote, and Maintain a positive environment within the organization where all employees feel motivated and engaged to contribute with plant results. Support & advise site management & employees in regard to company policies & national employment legislation Lead & improve training & development related processes, including needs analysis, design & training delivery, & development programs. Foster Learning Organization Culture Ensure proper & effective personnel administration Support site operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as required Provide leadership, management, coaching & development to staff members. Promote Safety & Continuous Improvement as a Culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum (2) years' human resources experience in a manufacturing and/or logistics environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Industrial, Labor Relations and/or Psychology
  • Master's Degree HR Management, Industrial, Labor Relations and/or Psychology
  • Experience with lean six sigma/continuous Improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Presentation and facilitation knowledge with skills in teaching, training and developing employees
  • In depth knowledge of employment legislation
