About The Position

At Jushi Holdings Inc., the HR Manager is the face of Human Resources for their flagship manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR functions, with a central focus on leading and managing all onsite union-related matters, including contract interpretation, grievance administration, and labor-management communications. A key component is partnering with and supporting the Pennsylvania Region to oversee and execute cultural events and engagement initiatives across the broader region. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a strong communicator, and a cultural champion who thrives in a fast-paced, unionized environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or unionized environment.
  • Direct experience with labor relations, including grievance handling, contract interpretation, and daily union interface.
  • Experience handling employee relations investigations and performance management.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, NLRA).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all daily union-related activities for the facility, including contract interpretation, grievance administration from investigation to resolution, and ongoing labor-management communications.
  • Serve as the primary on-site HR contact for all manufacturing employees, union representatives, and front-line leadership, guiding policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations into employee concerns and complaints, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations within the plant.
  • Facilitate a comprehensive and engaging onboarding experience for new hires that embeds company culture and safety from day one.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build a robust pipeline for critical manufacturing roles.
  • Coordinate and execute regional cultural events, engagement programs, and community outreach activities.
  • Serve as the regional cultural ambassador, championing company values and ensuring local initiatives are aligned with the regional and corporate culture strategy.
