As the HR Manager in our Corporate office you will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources. You will be the go to person for HR related matters at the corporate location and supporting remote employees throughout the organization reporting to the corporate function. On a given day, you may: Be the main contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters, providing guidance in areas such as employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and policy interpretation. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance evaluations, and offboarding. Conduct investigations and facilitate resolution of employee complaints, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. Support the implementation and administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as compensation and benefits, talent management, and employee wellness. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Support the development and delivery of HR training programs to enhance employee knowledge and compliance. Stay updated on HR best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures. Manage the Chicago office, to include managing the Office Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Experience with employee relations, performance management, HR program administration in a sensitive and confidential manner
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
