About The Position

Shall provide DCPDS and HR System support for the Technology & Data Support Division (TDSD) of WHS-HRD that will be responsible for ETL process, account maintenance and access controls for database, DCPDS and Business Objects Enterprise Reporting System (BOERS) and any other reporting or visualization tools, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SME)s to enhance system capabilities and structure, as well as data integrity and quality controls. Position Requirements Minimum Requirements: 5+ Years of Experience Design and develop ETL solutions, extracting data from various sources, transforming it to meet needs, and loading it into target systems. Monitor, test, and troubleshoot workflows to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Collaboration with other teams and stakeholders. Documenting data flows, ensuring compliance with standards. Prepare and/or develop routine Personnel Data Reports for HRD and its supported agencies and Field Activities using DCPDS source data. Provide technical support of HR systems (i.e., DCPDS, BOERS, Database(s), other reporting and visualization tools etc.) Support HRD DCPDS Program manager in all facets of system support. System Functionality Testing. Change request review/submission. Reports/Dashboard development, testing, deployment and analysis System problem intake and problem resolution support Ensure the availability of systems, database, report outages and manage outages until systems are back online keeping leadership informed of most current status. Provide support of DCPDS program, functionality, user account maintenance and system structure. Troubleshoot personnel and payroll matters as a result of personnel action processing with the DCPDS and other related HR applications. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience
  • Knowledge in Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and USA Staffing (USAS).
  • Human Resources Information Systems skills
  • Extract Load Data using like SSRS/Informatica/Azure Data Factory or any other ETL tools.
  • Understanding data structures, dimensional modeling, data marts, and data cubes is vital for organizing and storing data efficiently in data warehouses.
  • Skills in data profiling and data cleansing techniques ensure data quality and accuracy before data is loaded into the target repository.
  • High School Diploma
  • Secret required
