The Citco HR function comprises of these five teams that collaborate to support business operations: Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Rewards & Retention, Business Excellence and HR Business Partners. Citco recently launched a centralized HR Shared Service model whereby our MyHR team (Business Excellence) is the first point of contact for many HR inquiries. The HR Intern role will support the continued growth of Citco in the Americas & Caribbean Regions. The primary focus is to provide full administrative support for the HR function. The HR Intern will also be required to participate in the consistent roll out of regional and global HR projects and initiatives and helping to ensure consistency and understanding across the divisions. This internship will run from June 8th - Aug 14th in our Jersey City Office.

Requirements

  • Completion of one year of higher education
  • Ability to be flexible, resilient, and multi-task and prioritize effectively with shifting priorities and timeframes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical behavior
  • Strong communication, organizational, administrative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated competence in Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and HR systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks and support daily activities for the Regional HR team
  • Provide HR administration support including proper maintenance of employee files
  • Liaise with COE to ensure timely completion of work authorization documentation
  • Partner with Regional HR team to enhance internal communications processes and platforms to foster positive employee relations and retention
  • Actively participate in various Global and Regional projects as part of the HR team
  • Implement HR initiatives in support of CFS Business & Strategic Plans
