As a HR Information Systems Administrator at Horizon, you will… Oversee systems architecture and integration across HRIS/HCM and payroll platforms. Manage configuration tools and practices to ensure consistency and reliability. Apply API and UI design principles for custom integrations and user-friendly interfaces. Work within UKG, ADP, Oracle, or Workday HRIS/HCM systems. Implement security protocols and permission structures to safeguard sensitive employee data. Administer UKG Core and UKG Pro Learning modules. Set up and optimize recruiting and onboarding workflows. Support back-end timekeeping processes for UKG UTM/WFM maintenance. Configure and report on LMS for employee training programs. Utilize data mapping and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI). Manage EDI files according to EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML). Coordinate with vendors and manage SLAs to ensure service quality. Troubleshoot and validate data for seamless data exchange. Track contract performance to monitor vendor deliverables. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Human Resources with tech emphasis
  • 2+ years of relevant experience working with HRIS systems
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
  • Familiarity with UKG data, datasets, and database knowledge.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and generating reports.
  • Must be proficient and demonstrate an aptitude and competency in Excel and/or Google Sheets with knowledge in data calculations and formulas, pivot tables, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UKG systems, particularly inHRIS-related functions.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, including data privacy and security standards.
  • Familiarity with system integration and software troubleshooting.
  • UKG Pro or UKG Ready EDI-specific certifications (CEDIAP®)
  • Project Management (PMP, Agile)
