About The Position

The HRIS Specialist will work in a projectized environment assisting with training, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our HR systems to ensure data integrity, streamline HR processes, and support strategic decision-making. HR systems include, but are not limited to, our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) UKG/ Ultipro, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Greenhouse, and our Learning Management System (LMS) Cornerstone. The HRIS Specialist will actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for process improvement, automation, enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations. The HRIS Specialist will report to the Manager of HRIS.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, or related field preferred.
5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources, HRIS or IT, specifically working with HRIS systems.
Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and related report writing (UKG highly preferred).
Advanced Excel skills desired.
Strong problem solving/analytical skills with diligence and a high level of accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills working with project teams, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the HRIS system including user access, reporting, maintenance, and system configuration.
Audit employee data to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Create, maintain, and produce reporting with varying degrees of complexity for HR metrics and compliance requirements.
Lead or support upgrades, test new functionalities, and manage multiple cross-functional project activities.
Act as a key point of contact for our HRIS systems with an emphasis on vendor management, troubleshooting and training employees.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system issues, enhancements, and queries.
