About The Position

BARCO RENT-A-TRUCK is a leader in the 4x4 truck rental industry and one of the fastest-growing work truck rental providers in the U.S. With over 40 years of success, we continue to expand and are looking for an HR professional who can support our team and grow with us. Position Summary We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This role partners closely with leadership and employees to ensure a positive workplace culture and consistent HR practices across the organization.

Requirements

2-4 years of experience in Human Resources (HR Generalist or similar role)
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of discretion handling confidential information

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Support all core HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration
Coordinate hiring process: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling
Lead new hire onboarding and orientation
Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with employee relations issues and workplace investigations
Administer and support employee benefits and answer employee questions
Track and support performance review processes
Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies
Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
Assist with HR audits and reporting
Partner with managers to support staffing and performance needs
