Employee Wellbeing Focus Join an organization with an Indeed Work Wellbeing Score of 82, reflecting our commitment to a positive, healthy workplace. ---------------------------------------- POSITION SUMMARY The HR Generalist (Onboarding & Compliance) supports the entire organization by: Guiding candidates through the new hire roadmap from offer acceptance through Day 1. Collecting and verifying confidential and compliance-related documentation. Keeping hiring managers and HR Business Unit leaders informed on new hire progress. Ensuring each new employee has a positive, supportive New Hire Experience that reflects KVC’s values. Juggling multiple onboarding tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service. This position requires strong judgment, independence, and the ability to make timely decisions in the moment while partnering closely with the HR Compliance and broader HR teams.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to support staff and new hires.
  • Excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Valid auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment handling confidential information.
  • SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/onboarding systems.

Responsibilities

  • Practice conduct that displays respect for all KVC colleagues and community stakeholders, regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, or ethnicity.
  • Initiate positive engagement with 200+ new hires per year throughout the onboarding and orientation process.
  • Contact new hires after offer acceptance and serve as their point of contact during onboarding.
  • Collect and track: Background checks Out-of-state Child Abuse Registry checks Clinic documentation and clearances Licensing information and other compliance-related documents
  • Ensure onboarding completion for all new hires and keep HR Business Unit leaders and hiring managers informed of status and next steps.
  • Verify all employee compliance documents for both new and existing employees.
  • Process new hires in ADP Onboarding and support accuracy in HR systems.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to ensure the New Hire Experience is consistent, timely, and trauma-informed.
