About The Position

Reliance Medical Transport is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR Generalist to join our team. This role will serve as the primary payroll processor, while also supporting key HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance. We are looking for a professional who can manage payroll accurately and efficiently while supporting a fast-paced HR environment. Payroll (Primary Focus) Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule Audit timecards, earnings, deductions, and accruals Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation Monitor timekeeping systems (UKG preferred) for accuracy HR Generalist Responsibilities Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws Administer and support FMLA, STD, and other leave programs Assist with employee relations matters and provide HR guidance Support recruiting, onboarding, and orientation processes Coordinate and track employee training and certifications Draft employee documentation including disciplinary actions and terminations Assist with HR audits and reporting Other assignments assigned by the HR Manager or Director

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of HR experience, including hands-on payroll processing
  • Experience processing semi-monthly payroll required
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS/payroll systems strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll, and employment laws
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Responsibilities
