About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources Business Partner in executing HR programs and initiatives that support operational effectiveness, workforce stability, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with operations leadership, supervisors, and employees to ensure consistent application of company policies, address employee relations matters, and support HR processes that contribute to a productive and compliant workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding company policies, workplace concerns, and HR procedures.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with employee relations matters, documentation, and workplace investigations.
  • Support supervisors in the consistent application of company policies and corrective action procedures.
  • Assist in resolving workplace concerns through coaching, policy interpretation, and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain documentation related to employee relations and HR compliance.
  • Support HR processes related to attendance monitoring, leave administration, and workplace policy adherence.
  • Ensure HR documentation is properly maintained for internal reviews and external audits.
  • Assist with preparing HR reports and documentation as needed.
  • Assist with coordination of employee training initiatives and HR programs.
  • Support onboarding processes and orientation coordination when needed.
  • Reinforce company policies, employee handbook guidelines, and HR procedures with employees and supervisors.
  • Assist with documentation related to performance management and corrective action processes.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Business Partner or HR leadership.
