About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our client with recruiting and employee relations activities during a major organizational initiative. In this role, you will provide broad HR generalist support, partnering with internal stakeholders to manage full‑cycle recruiting, handle employee relations matters, and ensure HR processes run smoothly throughout the project period. This role is onsite in Kingston, RI, and is open to Green Card Holders and U.S. Citizens only.

Requirements

  • Experience with full‑cycle recruiting.
  • Experience supporting employee relations processes.
  • Experience working in a higher education environment.
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft/PSFT HR modules.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide generalist support across core HR functions, with emphasis on recruiting and employee relations.
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring coordination.
  • Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, supporting investigations, and helping ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Maintain HR documentation, records, and reporting as needed.
  • Partner with HR leadership and internal teams to support organizational initiatives throughout the implementation period.
