Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist will perform administrative human resources duties related to the operations of the Human Resource office.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of human resources systems and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, fast, team oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
  • Talent acquisition and benefit administration experience required
  • Two – four years of human resources experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • ADP Comprehensive - Time and Attendance/HRIS experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answers and directs departmental phone calls and employee email inquiries
  • Pre-screens high-volume hourly, non-exempt applicant submissions
  • Laisse’s with facilities and building management for security badges and parking passes
  • Receives, validates and memorializes FMLA/LOA documentation in conjunction with Sr. Human Resources Manager
  • Benefit enrollment, change, drop facilitation
  • Monitor HR Inbox and respond appropriately to inquiries
  • Proofreads and fact check communications and correspondence produced by department
  • Drafts required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters
  • Wellness Program Incentive form administration and hour allocation
  • Provides people data and payroll reports to Managers upon request
  • Updates team calendar with important deadlines and events
  • Maintains/updates Onboarding program materials and SharePoint
  • Personnel file maintenance – electronic and paper files
  • Create UPS labels for field equipment and track returns
