About The Position

Are you an HR professional looking for a hands-on role with real impact? We’re seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Dallas, supporting employees in person in our Victory Park office, and virtually in LA and New York. You will be a vital part of a collaborative HR team, supporting our employees and leaders across the Dallas and Los Angeles offices. What You’ll Do You’ll be an on-the-ground HR resource for our Dallas office and support the Los Angeles team. This is a dynamic, support-focused role where a typical day is varied and hands-on, including:

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous senior HR associate or HR Generalist experience.
  • Core Skills: Proven experience with performance management, including writing or delivering PIPs, and a strong background in onboarding and training.
  • Legal Knowledge: An understanding of US employment law, with an awareness of multi-state laws, particularly those in Texas and California.
  • Mindset: An agile, adaptable, and flexible approach. You are comfortable with ambiguity and change, and you thrive on getting things done.
  • Behaviors: You are a proactive and collaborative team player, always ready to help and escalate issues as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefit, leave and other HR matters.
  • Performance Management: Support our HR Business Partners and business leaders in handling performance management issues, including helping to draft and review Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), nurturing top performers, and Employee Relations.
  • Onboarding & Training: Assist with onboarding new hires and facilitate training sessions for employees.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with US employment law, with a specific focus on understanding the differences between Texas and California regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a great, collaborative HR team, including HRBPs in New York, and the TA team in Dallas.
