HR Generalist

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. employment laws, and the ability to manage a wide range of HR functions. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with regulations, administering benefits, supporting employee relations, and executing HR policies and programs.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of HR Generalist experience
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including U.S. employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA, HIPAA).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Dynamics, Concur experience preferred
  • Multilingual in Spanish or French is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA, and HIPAA.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and recordkeeping, including EEO-1, VETS 4212, and ACA compliance.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including handling qualifying events and managing annual open enrollments.
  • Assist with less complex employee relations matters, providing support and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing employees, gathering feedback to improve retention strategies.
  • Adapt, implement, and execute Indra Group HR policies in line with local requirements and company goals.
  • Assist in the administration of performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support the implementation of training plans, talent development initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Act as a backup for the HR Director in their absence and be considered as a potential successor.
