Job Title: HR Generalist Job Location: Houston, TX Job type: Full-time / Hybrid Position Overview: The HR Generalist supports daily human resources operations and employee lifecycle activities while helping promote a positive and productive workplace environment. This role partners with managers and employees to assist with HR programs, policies, and processes related to employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement initiatives. The HR Generalist helps ensure HR practices are consistently applied and supports organizational goals through effective HR service and support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS or ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the employee experience by guiding managers and employees to promote engagement and performance.
  • Partner with HR leadership and managers to support day-to-day HR functions and initiatives.
  • Assist managers and employees with HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Support the execution of HR programs and ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently.
  • Guide talent development, performance management, and employee development topics.
  • Help coordinate and maintain HR processes, programs, and documentation.
  • Support managers in utilizing HR tools, systems, and processes effectively.
  • Assist with employee engagement and professional development initiatives.
  • Support HR compliance efforts and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and administrative HR operations as needed.
