About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department, onboarding, employee relations, policy guidance, and HR administration. This role will handle employee grievances, support managers and employees, and ensure HR operations align with organizational goals and labor regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Two- Five years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or organizational settings.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Experience handling employee relations and managing grievances preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR operational functions, including job postings, new hires, promotions, terminations, and maintenance of confidential personnel files.
  • Respond to employment verification requests, unemployment notices, and benefits inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee grievances, mediate issues, and support conflict resolution to maintain positive workplace relations.
  • Support workforce administration, including tracking HR metrics, maintaining records, and assisting with reporting.
  • Coordinate HR projects and training initiatives, including onboarding, compliance, and employee development programs.
  • Assist in workforce and succession planning by monitoring staffing needs and providing data as needed.
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals, evaluate program effectiveness, and make recommendations.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned to support the department and organization.
