About The Position

As an HR Generalist, you will contribute to the engagement of our Lima associates on a daily basis, while sharpening your HR skills in key areas, including performance management, employee relations, new hire assimilation, and everything in-between. For this position, you will work on-site at our Lima, OH manufacturing facility supporting 80+ employees. You Will Serve as the site resource for Associate benefits programs, which includes facilitating Open Enrollment, promoting wellness plans and providing general guidance. Administer HR functions, such as time & attendance, new hire onboarding, job changes, LOA, etc. Facilitate New Hire Orientation and other trainings Support training & safety program administration, including enrollment, tracking & logistics planning. Perform and maintain all administrative functions in compliance with federal, state and company guidelines Contribute to the planning of Associate engagement events and other activities Participate in Plastipak community activities with local schools and vocational programs, fostering positive relationships and candidate pools. You Have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred A minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience with exposure to recruiting, onboarding and HR administration A relationship-oriented and caring interpersonal style Technical savvy, with a solid understanding of HR platforms. Workday and Kronos experience is preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience with exposure to recruiting, onboarding and HR administration
  • A relationship-oriented and caring interpersonal style
  • Technical savvy, with a solid understanding of HR platforms.
