This position is responsible for supporting recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and a variety of other human resources functions. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in human resources and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization. This role will work directly with the Human Resources Director to ensure full coverage support for the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or directly relevant military experience required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of HR generalist experience
  • Experience using an HRIS (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Organized and efficient with a heart to teach, serve and lead
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making and communication skills
  • Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting efforts including, but not limited to, reviewing job descriptions with hiring managers, placing job posting on our applicant tracking system, participate in the interview process, make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications and skills.
  • Partner with HR Director and hiring managers to facilitate onboarding, orientation, and document collection.
  • Partner with the HR Director to track and manage employee documentation, including reviews and sensitive files.
  • Apply established HR policies ensuring compliance with Federal and State employment laws.
  • Ensure HR processes and procedures are correctly administered.
  • Participate in planning and execution of employee engagement events.
  • Assisting managers with appraisal reviews, ensuring proper documentation and thoroughness.
  • In collaboration with HR director, maintain HRIS (ADP).
  • Keeps current on human resources trends, best practices, new technologies, and employment laws.
