The HR Professional will be involved in and contribute to a variety of Human Resources functions and projects related to clients and overall business, solving HR-related issues and working on projects like handbooks, job descriptions, and compensation. This position requires comfort with training and the ability to provide excellent customer service, with opportunities to expand into various HR tasks, projects, and employee relations initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required
  • Professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with MS Office products especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to flex and multi-task
  • Houston-based

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and equip leaders to make smart people decisions
  • Gain hands-on experience in employee relations, compensation, training and facilitation
  • Be involved in and contribute to a variety of Human Resources functions and projects related to clients and overall business
  • Work with multiple clients solving HR related issues
  • Work on projects assigned such as handbooks, job descriptions, compensation, etc.
  • Be comfortable on their feet when it comes to training
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Move on to an ever-expanding menu of HR related tasks, projects and employee relations interventions and initiatives
