About The Position

For the past 28 years, Advantage Investigations has been the Nation’s only insurance defense investigation firm that invests in the operational capabilities necessary to produce consistent, high-quality results—ultimately helping our clients "See What’s True." We are seeking an HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources operations of the organization by executing high-volume, process-driven HR activities. This role focuses on administrative and operational HR functions, including onboarding, HRIS data management, benefits support, and payroll coordination. This position does not have employee relations responsibilities and works under the guidance of HR leadership for more complex HR matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience with HRIS system required
  • Collaborative and solution oriented
  • Proven quality experience as demonstrated through historical work/achievements
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills; comfortable working under time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s in business or related field preferred
  • PHR or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily HR administrative functions with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • Processes employee lifecycle transactions including hires, transfers, status changes, and terminations
  • Maintains and updates employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Prepares standard HR reports and support data audits
  • Prepare and support or run payroll on a timely basis
  • Support payroll processing by entering and auditing employee data changes
  • Assist with resolving basic payroll discrepancies
  • Assist with employee benefits enrollment and changes
  • Support open enrollment activities, including communications and system updates
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding benefits and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Supports the transition of new employees acquired through closed acquisitions
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager or designee
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee files and documentation
  • Assist with and, when required, manage licensing and credentialing processes, including new hire applications and renewal tracking for existing employees
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and company policies (e.g., I-9, recordkeeping)
  • Assist with internal audits and reporting requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager or designee
