About The Position

The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the HR team with responsibility across HR operations, benefits administration, employee relations, and day-to-day HR support. This is a role for someone who understands the value of well-designed systems and workflows, and is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to keep essential day-to-day activities running smoothly. Our HR Generalist will be the tactical backbone of the HR function, owning the day-to-day execution of core HR operations with independence, precision, and credibility across our growing organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment and discretion, and the ability to create and improve repeatable processes. Our ideal candidate has deep experience in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance, and a polished and professional communication style.

  • Prior experience supporting a distributed workforce across multiple states, ideally including highly regulated states such as New York, New Jersey, etc.

  • Prior experience as an administrator of an HRIS, ideally Workday.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high standard of accuracy and follow-through. Must be able to execute tasks independently once trained.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Professional presence and polished communication skills with the ability to influence and earn trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Level-headed with sound judgment and demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information. Ability to recognize what information must remain confidential.
  • An appreciation for both the strategic importance of strong HR systems and the necessity of hands-on execution to keep those systems running.
  • A desire to continue growing and learning new things.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset. Good team player.
