Your Opportunity: Human Resources (HR) Generalist Salary: $70,000 $80,000 (based on experience) + annual discretionary bonus Location: 100% on-site at our beautiful Ladera Ranch, CA corporate office. As an HR Generalist , you will report directly to the Director of People & Culture and serve as a trusted partner for our teams across multiple regions. Youll handle a variety of HR functions from onboarding through the employee life-cycle while helping us create an outstanding employee experience at every stage of the journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a multi-site, multi-state company
  • Hands-on HR experience in California (required)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and confidential matters with professionalism
  • A collaborative, proactive, customer service, and can-do mindset

Nice To Haves

  • ADP Workforce Now helpful but not required
  • SHRM certification (a plus!)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to manage offers, background checks, and onboarding.
  • Administer leaves of absence, workers comp, and employee terminations with care and accuracy.
  • Serve as the go-to HR contact for employees and leaders in your assigned region(s).
  • Provide guidance to Regional and District Managers on all HR matters.
  • Manage unemployment claims, workers comp documentation, and compliance reporting.
  • Keep HR systems (ADP Workforce Now) accurate and up to date, working closely with Payroll and Accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, and recommend best practices.
  • Champion our company values and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Other projects as assigned.
