About The Position

At Bader Rutter, we believe great work starts with great people and the experience we create for them. As an HR Generalist with a focus on talent acquisition, you will be our agency’s primary talent ambassador. You’ll lead the recruiting and onboarding efforts that bring new talent into BR and set them up for long-term success, while also supporting broader HR functions such as benefits, employee engagement, culture initiatives and special projects. You’ll work closely with another HR Generalist and our HR Director to create a seamless, supportive experience from a candidate’s first conversation with us through their career growth at the agency. While your primary focus will be talent acquisition and onboarding, both Generalists are cross-trained to ensure strong coverage and consistent, high-quality HR support across the agency. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of related HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, employment law and recruiting best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that build trust and credibility.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • A collaborative service-minded approach rooted in empathy and professionalism.
  • A growth mindset and genuine enthusiasm for learning, adapting and improving.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and shape thoughtful recruiting strategies.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, sourcing, interviewing, screening and managing offers.
  • Build strong candidate pipelines through networking, relationship building and creative outreach.
  • Deliver a welcoming, well-organized onboarding experience for every new hire.
  • Manage applicant data and insights within our ATS and contribute ideas for improved processes.
  • Support HR operations as needed, including benefits, payroll coordination and employee communications.
  • Collaborate closely with your HR teammate to share knowledge, ensure coverage and continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, agency initiatives and special projects that enhance culture, engagement and HR effectiveness.
