About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing law firm to identify a Human Resources Generalist I to support day -to -day HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early -career HR professional looking to gain hands -on experience across onboarding, recruiting coordination, and HR administration within a collaborative and fast -paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
Ability to thrive in a fast -paced, deadline -driven environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable interacting with leadership and professional staff
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or ATS platforms preferred

Nice To Haves

Experience in a professional services or law firm environment is a plus

Responsibilities

Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including scheduling orientations and ensuring completion of all employment documentation
Prepare offer letters, job change documentation, and maintain standardized HR templates
Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
Assist with payroll and benefits enrollment for new employees
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
Support offboarding processes and general HR administrative functions
Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits
Assist with reporting, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement efforts
Participate in in -office responsibilities, including onboarding sessions as needed (3 days onsite per week)
