HR Employee Relations Manager

About The Position

Team Mobile Health Care is hiring an experienced HR Employee Relations Manager to support our growing EMS operations across Tennessee and Georgia. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong employee relations, investigations, recruiting, and onboarding experience, preferably in healthcare, EMS, or public safety environments. You will work closely with field leadership to ensure a compliant, positive, and high-performing workplace while supporting the full employee lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations
  • Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and background check processes
  • Knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, ADA, etc.)
  • Strong investigative, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, EMS, ambulance services, or public safety environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead employee relations efforts across Georgia and Tennessee
  • Conduct workplace investigations (harassment, discrimination, and policy violations)
  • Advise leadership on disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, Georgia, and Tennessee employment laws
  • Oversee and support recruiting and hiring processes, including candidate selection and offer guidance
  • Process and manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll
  • Manage and improve employee onboarding processes to ensure a strong new hire experience
  • Administer and ensure compliance with background checks, credential verification, and pre-employment screenings
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Analyze trends and proactively address workforce challenges
  • Train supervisors and managers on HR best practices and conflict resolution
  • Manage EEOC responses, unemployment claims, and legal documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Travel between operational locations as needed
